Use the calculator to determine how much your reward points or miles are worth for over 20+ airline, hotel, rail, and rental car travel providers. If you’ve ever wondered just how much all of those airline, hotel, rail, and rental car points you’ve accumulated are worth, you’ve come to the right place to calculate their value.
Once you (1) enter the non-zero number of points you have, and (2) select the relevant rewards program, the value of your points will auto-calculate and appear just below your input. There is no need to enter commas. Travel providers in the drop-down field are listed in ascending alphabetical order.
The calculator was last updated in April 2017. All calculated amounts are in USD and are rounded up to the nearest dollar.

Wondering how these values are determined? The calculator uses the value of one point as determined by the point cost (or mile cost) of the rewards programs’ award redemption options and also factors in the variety of redemption options, the size of the travel provider’s network, and the availability of awards.

Airline calculations are based on 20 air routes (10 domestic and 10 international) and hotel calculations are based on 20 different cities (10 domestic and 10 international).
Note: The Hilton Honors program changed in February 2017, and point valuations for the program may be affected eventually.
Something to keep in mind: While some programs’ points aren’t worth much (i.e., well under than one cent), it can be also be easier and cheaper to accumulate points in these programs, too. As an example, Hilton Honors points are valued at 0.6 cents each, while Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) points are valued at 2.4 cents each. But you can generally get 15 Honors points per dollar spent at Hilton while SPG only gives out 2 points per dollar spent…assuming in both cases that you don’t have elite status in either program, there isn’t a bonus promo, and that you aren’t using a co-branded credit card.
If you treat all of this as a rebate, Honors is rebating you 9.0% of what you’ve spent with them, while SPG is only rebating you 4.8% of what you’ve spent with them. That’s almost half the Honors rebate rate.
