Use the Celebrity Cruises Perks Calculator to determine whether booking a Perks-included fare is a better value than booking a no-Perks fare. Celebrity Cruises’ “Sail Plus” and “Sail All Included” fares include Perks, while “Sail” fares do not include perks. The calculator was last updated in August 2020.
You can also determine what Celebrity Cruises beverage package is best for you.

Sail Plus and Sail All Included Fares (Perks Included)
Use this section of the Celebrity Cruises Perks Calculator to enter information about Perks being received as part of a Perks-included fare. The calculator assumes all included perks are for first two guests only.
Fare | Perks Included
Enter the Sail Plus or Sail All-Included (Perks-included) fare, either on a per-guest or entire cruise (total) basis, excluding taxes and port fees. This fare includes Perks in the cost, but is usually priced at a higher cost than a no-Perks fare for the same Celebrity Cruises cruise.
Select whether premium or classic (alcoholic) beverage packages included as part of a Perk received. The calculator limits the number of included beverage packages to the number of guests or two, whichever is less.
Select whether prepaid gratuities are included as part of a Perk received. The calculator limits the prepaid gratuities to two guests and the savings amount is based on the automatic gratuity program.
Select whether Xcelerate (fast) or Surf (slow) unlimited wi-fi packages are included as part of a Perk received. Xcelerate (fast) is the most likely option, if offered. The calculator limits the included Wi-Fi to two devices.
Onboard Credit Included
Enter any onboard credit (OBC) received as part of a Perk received, either on a per-guest or entire cruise (total) basis. If entered on a per-guest basis, the calculator limits the OBC to the first two guests. Leave the amount as $0 if OBC is not included as part of Perk.
Savings Value of All Other Perks
Enter the savings for any extra Perks received and not indicated above, including perks for third, fourth, or fifth guests, if applicable. Leave the amount as $0 if there are no additional savings.
Sail Fare (No Perks Included)
Use this section of the Celebrity Cruises Perks Calculator to enter information about packages and amenities that will be purchased with a Sail (no-Perks-included) fare.
The calculator uses the information entered in this section to determine how much savings would be achieved with a Perks-included fare, and discounts the savings if the Perks are not (fully) utilized. For instance, if a Perk includes $150 in OBC per guest for the first two guests, but only $100 in OBC per guest (for the first two guests) would actually be spent, then the Perk only saves $100 per guest (and not $150 per guest).
Fare | No Perks
Enter the Sail (no Perks included) fare, either on a per-guest or entire cruise (total) basis, excluding taxes and port fees. This fare does not include any Perks in the cost, but is usually priced at a lower cost than Perks-included fares for the same Celebrity Cruises cruise.
Select the number of beverage packages to be purchased, without taking into account any Perks. Default daily package costs are included and may be edited to reflect an increase in packages prices, a Captain’s Club elite status discount, etc.
The calculator will add a 20% mandatory gratuity for all beverage packages when calculating costs and savings.
Available beverage packages include (in descending order of cost):
- Drinks & More
- Premium (alcohol)
- Classic (alcohol)
- Premium (non-alcoholic)
- Classic (non-alcoholic)
- Water (premium)
The calculator auto-calculates standard gratuities based on cabin type, number of nights, and number of guests. The daily cost is based on the automatic gratuity program and cannot be edited.
Select the number of simultaneous devices and type of unlimited wi-fi plan, Xcelerate (fast) or Surf (slow), to be purchased, without taking into account any Perks. The package cost varies depending on type of plan, number of devices, and number of nights.
The “number of devices” refers to the number of devices that can be connected simultaneously to wi-fi. For example, a two-device plan would enable two devices to be used simultaneously. You could still use multiple devices on a one-device plan; you just wouldn’t be able to connect more than one device at a time to the wi-fi.
Enter the amount for anticipated cruise expenses that can be paid with OBC, either on a per-guest or entire cruise (total) basis. This can include shore exclusions, spa treatments, specialty restaurant cover charges, etc.
Perks Savings Calculations
This section of the Celebrity Cruises Perks Calculator determines and displays savings from Perks included in a Perks-included fare.
It includes a total and breakdown of savings by type of Perk: beverage packages, gratuities, wi-fi, OBC, and the manually-entered savings value of all other perks.
The calculator then displays the Perks-included fare reduced by applicable Perks savings so you have a head-on comparison to the no-Perks-included fare.
This section of the Celebrity Cruises Perks Calculator advises you which fare is the lowest cost option for you and the estimated savings you would achieve by selecting the lower-cost option. It also estimates the total cost of the cruise for both Perks-included and no-Perks fares.
Again, the calculator uses the information entered in the Sail (no Perks) fare section to determine how much savings would be achieved with a Perks-included fare and discounts the savings if the Perks are not (fully) utilized.
The calculator also assumes the following assumptions about beverage packages, if they are included as a perk:
- free package downgrades to a lower-cost package, if applicable
- Celebrity Cruises may charge for certain package downgrades. For instance, some guests have reported that downgrading from an Classic (alcohol) package, included as a Perk, to a Premium (non-alcoholic) package incurred a charge of $5 multiplied by number of nights. The $5 represents the $4 difference between the Classic (non-alcoholic) package and Premium (non-alcoholic package) plus 20% gratuity ($1) on the difference.
- package upgrades are charged the daily difference in cost + 20% of difference as gratuity
- the two highest-cost packages are covered or subsidized, if upgraded, by Perks
- no excluded beverages ordered with (up)charge
